The Writing Process
Content is King
At the end of the day, your content needs to shine. You need to have: fresh data, thorough analysis, and some real-life experience with the topic.
4 Writing Strategies
These strategies are based on an article I need to find.
1ļøā£ Just Write
Start a rough draft of what you want to write without any concerns about SEO. Form the habit of writing, donāt worry about anything else.
Do this if you just need momentum to get writing.
2ļøā£ Skyscraper
In summary
- Find content in your niche thatās performing well
- Enhance it in some way (like update it)
- Share it out
3ļøā£ Your EMVP Center
Similar to the Hedgehog concept
Your EMVP is:
- Enjoyable: What are you passionate about?
- Master-able: What are you skilled at / what could you be the best in the world at?
- Valuable: In terms of community, what would benefit others?
- Profitable: What can make money?
If you can find what intercepts all 4 things, youāre in good shape.
4ļøā£ TMB Funnel
The idea of the funnel that you start at the wide more general top and get more attention and then work your way down to a selling point follows the searcherās intent.
- Tofu (Top): Building awareness of your brand and the problems that you address
- Mofu (Middle): Teaching people about the solution
- Bofu (Bottom): Explaining why you solve the problem
